Fun and glittery craft session in a nursing home making Christmas tree decorations this week. The jewel colour sequins were a bit hit, and we all got a bit messy with glue, card and spoke of Christmas memories. A stimulating fun and thoughtful activity which encourages dexterity. I studied art at college (many years ago!) and have always enjoyed using art for creative expression and it is a joy to work with older people including those with dementia in a care setting. Following on with this theme - I made a collage of some Indian art activities we completed this year!
