#DoorsOfIndia India is a dream for a photographer and Anne has taken many pictures during our trip, she is particularly entranced by doors and doorways, particularly those where the brightest colour of the paint has faded and the brickwork is crumbling. We later discovered a recent campaign to discover stories behind some of the finest doors across the length and breadth of India. It is an advert for steel doors, but at the same time unearthed stories of iconic doors, inside and outside and what goes on inside them. Fascinating. Mansions, forts, temples, palaces, timeless stories. Our doors were in the picturesque lanes of the Old Latin Quarter of Panaji and around the Kampal area near to the River Mandovi - the doors to Goa's Portuguese legacy.
